Garrett County Agriculture Fair has worked with DSL Sound Inc for many years. Ed has become part of the fair family and is a valuable asset to us. Our church voted to install a projection system and through a competitive bid process DSL Sound Inc won the bid. Their knowledge and willingness to answer our questions, work through our design ideas (pros and cons) gave us the right solution for our church. When the system was installed, so many folks in the church saw the potential uses for the system, it was hard to contain the enthusiasm. DSL Sound Inc matched the new equipment to the paint and wood work, so much so that some folks never noticed the installation. I just wanted to write to tell you what a great job the team did at the Sara Renner concert. Not only did they do an exceptional job with the sound, they were really friendly and easy to talk to. Sara and her band had nothing but praise for the sound and backline equipment. The guitarist came up to me after the concert and said, “You nailed it with that backline equipment!” I guess they have gotten plenty of sub-par equipment over the years so I was thrilled that they were so happy with everything.
Everything sounded great. That’s the most equipment we have ever had in my church. One of the guys in my church commented, “I hope we have insurance on our windows!” No windows were blown out and no neighbors complained about the noise so that was good!
It’s been a pleasure dealing with DSL Sound Inc and if we ever need sound equipment again, I will be calling.
Thank you so much for your participation in our recent C&O Canal Fest. As always, your staff did a wonderful job and it was a pleasure to be working with DSL Sound Inc on this event this year. Please extend my appreciation to your staff for their hard work at our festival.
By being involved in CanalFest 2001, you contributed directly to the phenomenal success for this event. Over the past four years, CanalFest has grown by leaps and bounds, starting with an estimated 5,000 to 8,000 visitors in 1998 and increasing to approximately 12,000 to 15,000 people this year. With our 2001 festival barely finished, plans are already being made for 2002, which will mark the fifth anniversary of this unique heritage tourism event!

Once again, many thanks for allowing us to utilize your sound equipment to provide a superior sound system for the annual Washington County Showcase of Bands. In today’s environment, businesses as cooperative and helpful as yours are few and far between. You demonstrated your community involvement, with actions, not words. You are allowing us to set up and use literally thousands of dollars’ worth of sound equipment and appreciated by all of the people in attendance. I am sorry that I did not get to thank you personally.

I want you to know how much Loch Raven United Methodist Church appreciates the fine job your company did in the installation of our new sound system. You were responsive to our needs and were always willing to provide advice and assistance when I had questions or concerns. Your willingness to attend several Sunday morning worship services helped us to fine tune the system under actual conditions. You came through in areas of training as well.
Later, as we determined additional needs to enhance the function of the system, Ed was especially helpful in making suggestions and in designing the solutions. And, if complications arose, Ed focused his attention on the problem and somehow, made it all come together. Jeremy did a fine job on the cabinet too. I am writing this letter in an effort to offer my personal observations and support for the efforts of DSL Sound Inc of Hagerstown to provide an important service to churches regarding their audio needs.
I know Bill Hetzer both personally and as a provider of services here at St Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown. Bill has always demonstrated a great willingness to work with any committee in both accessing problems connected with sound systems as well as offering resources to fix any problem in a timely fashion. We have used Bill Hetzer to update a sound system that was installed at the construction of the church in 1968 and he was involved with installing our new system in April 2001. In both cases, whether repairing an old system or establishing a new system, Bill was very conscientious in completing the project in a timely and cost-effective fashion. I have no difficulty in recommending Bill Hetzer and DSL Sound Inc for any job that a church would require in improving or replacing their present sound system.
I am wiring this letter to show our sincere appreciation for a job well done. I am referring to the recent installation of the new sound system at St Mark’s Lutheran Church. The Church has embarked on some very new and exciting services and have quite extensively incorporated music and dramas into our worship. It was very evident that our old sound system did little justice to the renewed and invigorated music; so after thoughtful research, your company was awarded the contract to design and install a new sound system.
The work was performed in a professional manner and the area kept clean after the day’s work, all while staying on schedule and completing the project in an aggressive time frame. The job was completed in time for a pack house youth praise service that really tested the new system. It delivered superior sound and has been a delight to our entire congregation. The clarity and performance of the system have enhanced all aspects of our worship.

Kashmere Productions Ltd. has hired DSL Sound Inc for several years for many different events, ranging from multiple speeches to entertainment concerts. Many of those events not only occurred on multiple stages, but also occurred at multiple sites and sometimes even in different states. Working with prestigious and high profile clientele, having a reliable production staff is critical and DSL has that and more.

Just wanted to drop you a note and thank you all for getting our sound system installed in three days, as promised. Thank you too for providing a portable sound system, so that we could have a Wednesday evening service. The guys that did the work were very professional, patient, and kind. They taught us about different types of microphones, how to avoid feedback, and how to work our equipment (as much as you can in one day). In addition, they even touched up some of our walls with paint, after removing some cable that left marks! Please pass along my compliments. The folks at St. Paul’s Independent Church in Millers, MD are very appreciative of DSL Sound Inc’s good work with the original installation of the new projection system and the replacement of the receiver under warranty performed by Zach and Nathan yesterday.
While they were at the church, we offered to send the photos accompanying this message to show how well the equipment blends into the existing environment. The screens and projectors are not distracting at all when not in use, but are a tremendous improvement over what we had before. Images are larger, brighter, and more colorful.

I wanted to thank you for getting everything together and running so smoothly at Fountainhead a couple of weeks ago. Everything went well and our Sr. Team and Board of Directors were all pleased.
